Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

(Hyperbaric) literally means higher pressure. (Oxygen) in this therapy means breathing pure oxygen. Hence, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is breathing 100% Oxygen in a closed chamber under higher atmospheric pressure.

This type of therapy is an advanced medical treatment that has various potential mechanisms of action, it increases partial pressure of oxygen in the tissues several times. It stimulates the formation of new blood vessels (angiogenesis).  It reduces swelling (edema)

HBOT enhances mitochondrial functions, stimulates collagen formation and promotes healing and recovery. It helps your immune system to fight bacteria and mobilizes stem cells which are special cells in our body that help to synthesis other types of cells.
